This Cookie & Tracking Policy explains how ASTIS uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and Services.

1. Tracking Cookies

ASTIS does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies intended for cross-site behavioral tracking.

2. Essential Cookies / Storage

We may use essential cookies or local storage mechanisms strictly necessary to:

  • Maintain session state (if applicable)
  • Apply security protections (e.g., bot mitigation, abuse prevention)
  • Remember basic preferences (if enabled)

Third-party security services integrated into our website (such as Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile) may set cookies or use browser storage as part of their bot detection and security mechanisms. These are classified as essential/security cookies — they are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. ASTIS does not control the specific cookies set by these providers; for details, refer to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

3. Analytics Cookies (Consent-Based)

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregated website usage (e.g., page views, referrers/UTM, device/browser category, approximate geographic region). Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and is loaded only after you accept analytics via our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics is not loaded. We enable IP anonymization. Your choice is stored locally in your browser; clear your site data to be asked again. Strictly necessary cookies for security and delivery (e.g., Cloudflare) may be set without consent because they are required for the site to function.

4. First-Party Usage Events (Consent-Based)

In addition to Google Analytics, and subject to the same analytics consent, our website records first-party usage events — such as page views, scroll depth, link and CTA clicks, time on page, and UTM campaign parameters. These events are sent to an ASTIS analytics endpoint and to a Google Workspace (Google Sheets) spreadsheet used for marketing attribution and sales follow-up. If you decline analytics in the cookie banner, these events are not recorded or transmitted. A per-session identifier may be held in your browser's sessionStorage for this purpose and is cleared when you close the tab. See the Subprocessors list.

5. Managing Cookies

Most browsers let you control cookies through settings. Note: disabling certain storage mechanisms may impact login or security features.
